Jiaqi Maria Ma is interested in colour and drama. She likes to document the evolution of the built environment, as well as to reflect on ancient narrative literature through art.
She graduated B.A. with Honors in 2017 from Wesleyan University, where she majored in Art Studio and Classics. Outside of art, she is currently pursuing a graduate degree in New Haven, CT.
Maria’s illustrations have appeared on book and album covers, in promotional materials, in the Classics magazine Eidolon, and in a forthcoming edition of Virgil’s complete works.
